NBA Expansion: Virginia Fleet

Explanation of the project ⤵️: Uniforms/logos: The ABA’s Virginia Squires are reimagined and reborn as the Virginia Fleet! The name and logos are in correlation to the Naval history of Virginia and the stripes on the sides of the uniform are nods to the Position Badges that are given to Naval Officers. The whole brand is a salute to the Naval history of Virginia. The city edition uniform is another nod by having the anthracite/black uniform base-nod to the ships. #BattleReady Court: The two-toned main court uses the primary logo at center court with the 1st alternate logo within the 3 point arc. Virginia’s motto “Sic Semper Tyrannis” can be found at the bottom of this court as well. The throwback court is based on the Virginia Squires of the ABA in the 1970s. They were the last pro basketball team to play in Virginia, and this court along with the throwback uniforms pays homage to them. A redesign of the Squires logo lies at center court as well as Virginia’s motto at the bottom.
