In an attempt to shake up uniform design across the sport, Nike has been working with each MLB team to craft a uniform that expresses the personality and communities of the team's home city. With each team not set to have their own jersey until 2023, The Jersey Club has taken on the task of creating uniforms for all 30 MLB franchises.

The City Reconstruction Project came about when designer Seth Reese (@ninety4feet) tagged a bunch of us in this tweet suggesting that the NBA could, shall we say, use a little help with some of the City Edition designs that had been leaking at the time. What you see here is the result of a few weeks of intense work over late nights, back and forth critiques, hilarious jokes, unselfish sharing of knowledge, humble acceptance of feedback and a collaborative spirit unlike anything we've ever been a part of. For some it was truly therapy during this strange time we're all living through, when life's normal ups and downs are somehow magnified under the lens of COVID-19.

Trae Young and Luka Doncic will always be linked after being traded for each other on draft night, but have grown into two amazing different players. I wanted to have the tagline for this game be “Be Different” and tried to represent this through the ice & fire effect present throughout the concepts. As always feedback is appreciated and enjoy.

Trying my hand at wordmark logos for NBA teams.

The NBA has announced a new G League team set in Los Angeles. The team will feature upcoming High School prospects, and before they unveil the branding, we decided to come up with our own.

Another collab, this time with @jsgraphixs! The next part in the expansion series comes from Vancouver and was a lot of fun to make.

Explanation of the project ⤵️: Uniforms/logos: The ABA’s Virginia Squires are reimagined and reborn as the Virginia Fleet! The name and logos are in correlation to the Naval history of Virginia and the stripes on the sides of the uniform are nods to the Position Badges that are given to Naval Officers. The whole brand is a salute to the Naval history of Virginia. The city edition uniform is another nod by having the anthracite/black uniform base-nod to the ships. #BattleReady Court: The two-toned main court uses the primary logo at center court with the 1st alternate logo within the 3 point arc. Virginia’s motto “Sic Semper Tyrannis” can be found at the bottom of this court as well. The throwback court is based on the Virginia Squires of the ABA in the 1970s. They were the last pro basketball team to play in Virginia, and this court along with the throwback uniforms pays homage to them. A redesign of the Squires logo lies at center court as well as Virginia’s motto at the bottom.

Explanation of the project: Uniforms/logos: Blending past and present, this design brings back the history of the Sonics before their eventual move to OKC. The city wordmark is the words "Emerald City" in Japanese, representing the Japenese culture throughout the city. From the logos to the uniform design, the roots of the Emerald City run deep within it. Court: The main court for the expansion makes use of the 1st alternate logo at center court and features a standard design. The city edition court, uses the Japenese wordmark and a dark green court color. The silhouette of the Space Needle can be seen along the center court line as well. This colored court design was made with inspiration from the nets new court.

My submission for a sports design contest. I made a Brooklyn Nets rebrand and a set of jerseys as well. It's my first ever rebrand so feedback is appreciated.

The NBA’s All Star Weekend starts tomorrow, and with it, I bring another collab with @mlrstudios. We worked together on branding concepts for the weekend as jerseys and a court. The logo features a rough skyline of Chicago and a banner with a font reminiscent of the Roaring ‘20s. The jerseys take the color of Chicago’s flag, which can seen on the waistband of the shorts. The court also has the pattern used throughout the entire project and some color as well. It was fun to collab again, and I hope you all enjoy the project.
